I recently mailed out a few belated birthday/thank you packages to some sweet friends of mine. Of course, I wanted to include something handmade so I made each friend a Secret Pocket Envelope Clutch by Michelle Patterns {affiliate links}. I'm not usually much for assembly line sewing - I lack the needed attention span - but these are so easy it wasn't an issue. The size I made is perfect for carrying small journal or sketchpad, a pen, and some business cards (the pattern includes 5 sizes). The only tricky part for me was attaching the jumbo snaps - definitely a learning curve there! Regular magnetic snaps would work as well. Do you have a go to pattern for gift making?
